About Street beef fighting

Our Mission

Streetbeefs is an American backyard fighting club and viral YouTube Channel founded in Virginia in 2008 by Christopher "Scarface" Wilmore. Operating under the core motto "gloves up, guns down," the organization was created to reduce local street violence by providing a controlled, legal environment for people to settle personal disputes or test their martial arts skills. Events take place in outdoor settings like backyard rings and regional branches like The Scrapyard in Washington. The matchups feature amateur fighters of all experience levels competing in boxing, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts (MMA). Because Streetbeefs charges no admission fee and offers no prize money, it functions outside the jurisdiction of state athletic commissions. However, matches are still strictly monitored by referees and on-site staff trained in basic medical care to prioritize participant safety.
